Description

Habitat: Rocky reef area
Depth Range: Down to 20m
Size: 30 to 40mm
Distribution: Tas, VIC, NSW S.A. and Japan.

The name Nudibranch means naked gills. These most beautiful and bizarre of creatures belong to the subclass Opisthobranchia or sea slugs. Worldwide it is estimated that the subclass has in excess of 3,000 species.
